Without it, millions of us would literally be stuck where we are, unable to get to work or school or visit family and friends. Not everyone has the luxury of a car and sometimes taking a car just isn’t the best option. Here in New York City, the majority of us rely on the MTA. And while most of us also dislike the MTA, we can’t deny that we actually have one of the best running public transportation systems in the country.

The subway system itself is absolutely fascinating. For those with an interest in transportation and those who can appreciate the intricacy to build and operate it should visit the Transit Museum. It is the largest museum in the country dedicated to public transportation. Some exhibits include the story of building the 100 year-old subway system and an in-depth look at trolleys and buses. It’s incredible to see how our transit system took shape and turned into the massive system it is today.

Naturally you should take public transportation to get there…it seems suiting. A charter bus from Monsey Tours can take you to the museum, as well as the other museums in the city. Book a charter bus today!

Bus drivers from both Spring Valley and Brooklyn came out to the party. But the party wasn’t just about celebrating how important charter bus drivers are and how they help the community. It was also a chance to raise safety awareness. We all know that driving in general can be dangerous. Millions of car accidents occur each year, thousands of them ending in fatalities.

So when your sole job is to drive a group of people, you better make sure you’re taking all the right precautions and that you always make smart, safe driving choices. The CEO of of Monsey, Mr. Chaim Lunger, spoke briefly about the history of the company and his pride in working with safe drivers. Afterward, Rabbi Linover Ruv spoke of the important role drivers play in our lives and offered spiritual and moral support.

Monsey also put together a 12 minute video to educate people on the importance of safety. The video depicts some of the worst accidents over the years. Its intention is not to disturb you but rather showcase how a simple charter bus trip can go wrong if drivers aren’t careful. The event was a success and Monsey will continue to promote safety and train their drivers well.

There is literally always something to see or to do. It is the city that never sleeps after all. So if you like to frequently make charter bus trips to the city, there are easy ways to save on tickets at Monsey Tours.

For those who make several trips a month, you can purchase a monthly book of tickets as opposed to just a single ride. A single ticket to the city is $11. A book of 40 tickets for the month is $270 which ends up being on $6.75 per trip –that’s a savings of nearly 50% off your ride! The tickets used to be good for an entire calendar month but Monsey has recently extended it to two months. Now you won’t have to feel stressed about using up all the tickets. Monsey Tours also offers a ten trip book for $85, reducing the cost to $8.50 per ticket. Best of all, the ten trip book does not expire.

With two great ways to save, who wouldn’t want to take more New York charter buses?

Even if you’re not the biggest baseball fan, it’s still a fun way to get together with friends and enjoy a sunny Saturday, or perhaps a cool evening game is more to your liking. Whether you’re rooting for the Yankees (which you should be!) or the Mets, or you prefer college baseball, Monsey Tours bus company can get you to the game on time.

Taking a charter bus is a much better idea that trying to deal with the subways. There is a much higher chance you’ll end up being late for that first pitch. Plus, who wants to drive themselves? Especially if you’re going to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Citi Field isn’t much better in Queens. With all those cars, it’s a real nightmare. And if you’re not there super early tailgating, expect to be parked all the way out in section Z. Getting home will be horrific to say the least.

Whether you have a large party or just a handful of friends, a charter bus will take you to the stadium so you can enjoy hours of good ol’ fashioned baseball, complete with hot dogs and Cracker Jacks.

Cherry blossoms in full bloom are just absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. Every year there is always a cherry blossom festival going on somewhere in the country. If you’re here in New York, there will be one held at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, which occurs every year. At the Brooklyn Botanic Garden they showcase Hanami. Hanami is a Japanese tradition of enjoying each moment of the cherry blossom season. That means you can find several different species of cherry trees blooming at different times.

While you can take a charter bus to the BBG and visit any time, you might want to mark your calendar for the weekend of April 28-29 for the Sakura Matsuri Festival. The Hanami culminates in this festival where you can celebrate both traditional and contemporary Japanese culture, music, and arts. There will be plenty of activities going on throughout the days, fun for adults and children. Tickets are only $15 for adults and $10 for students over 12.

After you’re done basking in the beauty of cherry blossoms, check out the rest of the garden. It’s sure to take your breath away. Make sure you add this to your list of things to do on your charter bus trip!

They’re obviously not as expensive as a full week trip, making them affordable and easy to go on several times a year. Sometimes you just need a break and we all can’t afford to take off a week from work every few months. But the weekend trip is easy to pull off. You barely have to pack and depending on how far you travel, you don’t always need to take Friday off. Saturday and Sunday can easily suffice.

Instead of driving yourself to all your weekend destinations, try taking a charter bus instead. Chances are you aren’t traveling that far so an airplane won’t be necessary. Charter buses are extremely affordable and can fit your “weekend budget.” Let’s not forget they’re comfortable, more so than sitting in the front seat of a car worrying about driving. This is a trip after all. Who wants to worry about traffic jams and your friends complaining about the music on your iPod?

With the warm weather upon us, it’s important that we soak up as much time as we can. The economy is in rough shape still, so if you can’t afford a long vacation, save up for plenty of small little weekend trips this spring and summer.

From New York it was a little over a four hour bus trip. Despite getting a little antsy because I was sitting for so long, it was a comfortable ride that didn’t feel very long at all –mainly because I slept through half of it. But with cozy seating and free Wi-fi, how could I find anything to complain about?

If you’ve never been, you definitely should! It’s a lot of fun while still being educational of course. There are plenty of museums and so many national monuments to visit. Best of all, all the museums that belong to the Smithsonian are completely free! Even their zoo is free. It doesn’t get much better than that. I only stayed for a weekend, but that wasn’t enough time to explore everything. Start with one or two museums and the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and the other monuments in that area. If you’re looking for great food stop by Chinatown and leave some time to explore the beauty of the Dupoint Circle area.

Take a ride on their Metro, which has some insanely long escalators, and spend some time just admiring the beautiful architecture of the city. Washington, D.C. is a city worth seeing so plan a charter bus trip soon.

I’m sure you must know because we’ve discussed it a few months ago, but regardless, it’s time for a refresher on the New York charter bus. A few months ago you were probably planning class trips to museums and any indoor, mind-stimulating place you could find for the children. But the last place any kid wants to be right now with the temperatures rising is indoors.

While the zoo may be open all year long, not many people want to go in the dead of winter. Now is the perfect time before the weather becomes excruciatingly hot. And honestly, what child –or adult– doesn’t love going to the zoo? We have quite a few in New York, but the Bronx Zoo is by far the biggest and the best. There are also several Botanical Gardens, the biggest one being in the Bronx as well. Central Park has plenty going for it with its own zoo, a lake, those enormous rocks, and memorials. Plus, what kid isn’t going to turn down an opportunity to soak up the sun and enjoy a picnic. The kids have been working hard all year. Put them on the charter bus and giving them a relaxing, yet still fun-filled day.

Actually, that courtesy and reliability is what you look for in any company that you want to work with. But anyone and everyone can exclaim they are the best of the best and that your satisfaction is always guaranteed. Well, sometimes it isn’t. How can you decipher who will be best?

One way, and probably the best way, is to see what others are saying about the company. After all, don’t you look to online reviews before purchasing a product or using a service? You can easily take a look at what others have said about Monsey Tours by checking out their website. They were kind enough to compile a few letters from various groups that used their charter bus service. One letter stands out to me, and it is the one from the United Nations. One passenger forgot her purse on the bus and the driver was kind enough to not only keep it safe at the Monsey office, but he also dropped it off at the U.N. building the next day. If that isn’t great customer service, I don’t know what is.
