Ride a New York Charter Bus to See the Rockefeller Tree

charter bus nycThe holiday season is knocking at the door and it’s time to start planning all your holiday festivities for this year. One event that no one in the tri-state area should pass up is visiting Rockefeller Center to see the tree. This year’s tree arrived back on Friday, November 12. The tree is a Norway spruce measuring 70 feet tall and 40 feet wide. It hails all the way from Mahopac, NY and was donated by Peter Acton. Acton was a first responder on September 11th and is a twelve year veteran of the FDNY.

The tree will not be lit until November 30th so don’t hop on a charter bus NYC just yet! Plan a trip that involves a little holiday shopping, some ice skating in front of the tree, and maybe seeing those leggy Rockettes at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Take a walk down 5th Avenue to view all the beautiful window displays and end the night with a nice cup of hot chocolate. Although the tree is still beautiful during the day, there’s something a little more magical seeing it lit up after dark.

Don’t wait too long to get your bus tickets. Head over to Monsey Tours to purchase your New York charter bus ticket and don’t forget your camera!
